The seventh chapter of The Greatest Self-Help Book Ever Written asks us to remember what is eternal – your life. While you are given things to enjoy or spend time with, remain loosely attached to your endeavor. For these will pass when you are called to something else.
The eighth chapter of The Greatest Self-Help Book Ever Written is a riddle!
At first it seems to advise people to be passive and resigned to their fate, when it says wish things happen as they do happen.
But this is a misreading. The real power here is for people who can follow this instruction.
When you are able to accept events exactly as they are and maintain your presence of mind – especially your decision and action-taking ability – you will have more energy, both emotional and physical to work with conditions as you find them.
Enjoy,
Frank G.
