When Zach was little we got in the habit of buying him Legos.
But these are not your childhood Legos.
You used to be able to buy raw Legos, and just let your imagination run wild.
Nowadays the kits are very specific. There’s a picture on the box and just enough pieces to make exactly what you see.
After the 10th one, Julie and I got annoyed.
“They’re kind of expensive to do just one thing.”
“And then once you do it, what’s the point?”
With our younger boy, Caleb, we deliberately hunted down big tubs of bricks. He builds all kinds of things and has had lots of fun.
So if you keep seeing the same results in your life, here’s a clue:
You are rebuilding the same thing, “from the picture on the box.”
This picture is your self-image. We can get locked in to getting the same results over and over, mostly because we don’t realize we are working from the same picture.
Move to a new town? And somehow you found another bad job, or bad boyfriend? (Or girlfriend, of course.)
If you want new results, you’re going to have to create a new picture first. Or self-image.
It’s as easy as knowing that what you’re really working with is a box of random bricks – that you can choose and design any way you like.
But you have to understand the hidden mechanism at work, and then decide to work on that – before you can start getting different outer results.
This is what we talk about in our telcons on Wednesday and Fridays. By paying attention to your mechanism, and deciding to create a new self-image, you can be on your way to getting the results you really want.
Here’s the link to the registration page. After you click through I will mail you your secret telcon code.
The next call is Wednesday, 12 FEB at 7 PM EST.
Register now and I’ll send you the secret telcon code.
Sincerely,
Frank Giovinazzi
