There’s an old saying in the sales business that, “it’s selfish not to sell.”
I know, sounds like hokum.
Until you experience it.
Years ago I made a couple affirmation MP3s for getting a job and acing the interview, etc.
Put them up on YouTube and they are in the library of things I was selling.
And wouldn’t you know it, 5 or 6 years later, those videos are still getting views.
The best thing, though, are the comments.
They usually go like, “I didn’t think this would work but I listened a couple times … AND I GOT THE JOB!”
These comments come in about once a week, and it’s mostly good for the viewer – but I definitely get a hit off of their success.
All in all, cool stuff.
And what about you?
Do you have something you can teach, in the form of a product that can help someone out there having that problem?
If so, I hope you will consider putting it up on the Internet and making it available.
It might be a video that can make you a couple of bucks, but if it’s more involved, it can easily be turned into a product or consulting service.
All it takes is a website and a PayPal account to get started.
